This quote has carried me through countless moments of self-doubt, but never more so than in the past three months as I prepared to launch Compassionate Rebels.
Let me tell you, my inner critic had a lot to say:
- “What if no one joins?”
- “What if it’s not good enough?”
- “Wouldn’t it be safer to wait a little longer?”
It threw every excuse, fear, and doubt my way, not because it wanted to see me fail, but because it wanted to protect me. That’s what the inner critic does—it’s not a monster; it’s a misguided protector, clinging to comfort zones and avoiding risk.
But here’s the thing: befriending your inner critic doesn’t make it go away. Instead, it transforms the relationship. You begin to see that beneath its harsh words is a helpless creature, just waiting for you to take one courageous step forward.
And I did. With compassion for that voice and confidence in my vision, I pushed past the fears and doubts, and now, I’m here, ready to launch Compassionate Rebels.
This is your proof of concept. This work isn’t theoretical—it’s real. It’s transformative. And it works.
So, my fellow Rebels, trust me. This shit works.
Join me on January 29th for the launch of Compassionate Rebels. Together, we’ll cultivate the tools you need to befriend your inner critic, rewrite the stories holding you back, and step boldly into your next chapter—with grace, courage, and on your terms.
